How to Install DreamForge on Your Phone

DreamForge works great in your browser, but did you know you can install it as an app on your phone? Here's how to add DreamForge to your home screen for quick access.

What is a PWA?

A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a website that works like a native app. Once installed, DreamForge will:

• Launch from your home screen with its own icon
• Open in full-screen mode without browser UI
• Load faster with cached resources
• Work offline for viewing your dream journal

Install on iPhone / iPad (iOS)

1. Open Safari (this only works in Safari, not Chrome or other browsers)
2. Go to dream-forge.me
3. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up)
4. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
5. Tap "Add" in the top right corner

That's it! You'll now see the DreamForge icon on your home screen.

Install on Android

Using Chrome

1. Open Chrome
2. Go to dream-forge.me
3. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right
4. Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
5. Tap "Add" to confirm

Using Samsung Internet

1. Open Samsung Internet
2. Go to dream-forge.me
3. Tap the menu icon (three lines)
4. Tap "Add page to" > "Home screen"

Troubleshooting

iOS: "Add to Home Screen" not showing?

Make sure you're using Safari. Other browsers on iOS don't support PWA installation.

Android: Installation prompt not appearing?

Try clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page. Some browsers may also show an install banner at the bottom of the screen - tap it to install.
